Due to the use of a different construction technique, the Lyra model has lower instep volume than other previous models – Insole length and width remains the same.
Please bear in mind these shoes are handmade and small variations of 2-3mm can happen from one pair to another.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Dirt is best scrubbed off dry. Treat spots locally. We recommend a gentle hand wash with neutral soap. Do not wash in the machine. Do not tumble dry. For increasing water and dirt repellency use a waterproofing spray or before the first use and after each wash.

Each shoe is handcrafted with natural materials, slight differences in colors and finishing are possible.

    Aesthetically, the shoes are very attractive, and they feel soft when worn. Unfortunately, however, they do not seem very durable; after wearing them few times, they look years old. Furthermore, the interior under the heel is imperfect, with raised areas that cause discomfort while walking (possibly due to sloppy gluing). Plus, they didn't arrive in pristine condition but had some discoloration on the tip (though I did get a small refund for that).

We do regret that you feel that the shoes don't seem very durable but, as our customer support agent has said to you, suede is a very delicate leather, and its fibres can naturally change direction with friction or pressure, sometimes creating lighter or darker areas. We pride ourselves on using organic and natural materials in every part of the shoes where we can; however the trade off is that they can be more sensitive to marks and changes in appearance than synthetic or heavily treated materials. While we strive to manufacturer the highest level of quality and consistency, we believe there is something valuable in keeping the human element in our production rather than for the uniformity of a fully industrial process.     My first pair of Mukishoes ~ turned out to be quite liberating for my feet! They don't disappoint.
