I have narrow feet. Do Mukishoes fit me?
Our shoes are designed to fit a healthy, strong and naturally muscular foot. They offer you enough  space to give sufficient space to your toes, respecting the concept of barefoot shoes. Even if you have a more narrow foot you can use them and tie the laces tighter to get a snug fit.
If you have converged toes it can be a sign of shoe deformed feet. Mukishoes offers a sufficiently wide toe box to support a regeneration of muscles, straightening and spreading of the toes.

My new low cut Mukishoes are rubbing on my heel, what should I do?
Mukishoes are made with all natural materials that go through as little treatments as possible, so the fabrics may be a little stiff when they are brand new.
You can knead the fabric with your hands to loosen it faster, wear socks covering the heel part to create a barrier between your skin and the shoes and loosen the laces during the first times you wear the shoes.
STOCK
-
The shoes I would like to purchase are out of stock, when will they come back?
Some of our shoes are limited editions, due to the use of “deadstock” or other limitations of materials, which we specify on the product page. If they aren’t considered as a limited edition, they will be produced again. Depending on season and production capacities, some models might not be restocked right away.
We advise subscribing to our waitlist on the product page to be notified when a product comes back in stock. As we are a young start-up we try to produce as sustainably as possible and keep a conscious stock.
We thank you for your patience, support and understanding, as we are unable to keep all products in stock at all times for the moment.

BAREFOOT SHOES
-
I am new to barefoot shoes what do I need to know?
Barefoot shoes are different from most shoes in three key ways: they have a wider toe box (front), very thin soles and no heel to toe difference (zero drop).
If you are completely new to them, you should give yourself some time to adjust, by starting to wear your new barefoot shoes gradually for daily activities before attempting more strenuous activities like demanding work or exercise, as you might experience some soreness afterwards during this transitional period.
Once the soreness subsides, you should be able to wear your minimalist shoes comfortably and feel your muscles becoming stronger while your body gains stability.

MATERIALS
-
Are your shoes vegan?
We do offer several 100% vegan options that are crafted from materials such as cotton, hemp or cork, and contain no materials from animal origin. That is clearly stated in each specific product page.
-
Where are your shoes made?
Our shoes are handcrafted in Northern Portugal, at small family owned factories.
We source all of our materials from similar small businesses throughout Portugal and Europe, where we can ensure that the human and environmental conditions are up to our standards.
