Remove the laces

Lightly dust them with cornstarch to absorb moisture and reduce friction
Before storage, make sure the boots are clean and dry.
For daily care, we recommend wiping your boots down with a dry cloth, which should be sufficient to remove dirt. The material can be wiped down with a damp cloth and even washed at low temperatures if necessary.
As Alfarroba.Tex is 100% natural and created artisanally, it sometimes reacts to weather conditions, such as temperature differences, which may cause it to change color slightly. This is completely normal and temporary. If you’d like to restore the color quickly, all you need to do is wipe it with a damp cloth and let it dry.
It is also advisable to use a damp cloth to clean the boots before and after storage, but please note that the boots should be stored completely dry. And while we recommend air drying them after washing, as we do with most materials, you should be careful not to leave them exposed to direct UV light for long periods.
Alfarroba.Tex can also occasionally acquire a slightly different texture, when in contact with extreme weather conditions or higher humidity. If you notice this, you should make sure that your boots are completely clean and dry before performing maintenance by dusting the boots gently with a small quantity of powder. We recommend corn starch as the most sustainable option for this.
