FIT: You can verify your size with our size chart here.
If you plan to wear thick socks in them, measure your feet with them to choose the right size.
Please bear in mind these shoes are handmade and small variations of 2-3mm can happen from one pair to another.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Dirt is best scrubbed off dry and spots can be treated locally. We recommend a gentle hand wash. Do not machine wash. Do not tumble dry. We recommend treating the leather and stitches around the sole with a waterproofing spray (Tip: use a spray without fluorocarbons) or a natural wax to maintain the leather smooth and to increase longevity.

Each shoe is handcrafted with natural materials and ecologically dyed, slight differences in colours and finishing are possible.

These are great boots, and I really love them! They are very well crafted, super soft, beautiful leather, and nice design shape. They’re also wide enough for my feet, which are 10 cm at the widest point. I wear US 9.5 or EU 40-41 size. The 40 Chelsea was too small and I definitely needed 41 for these. Also, I’m enjoying an added wool insole for 2 reasons: 1) there’s some extra vertical space in the boots, and my feet feel cozier with the insert; and 2) the soles, as is the case with barefoot style, are thin, and not so comfortable when I walk on gravel roads. It’s enough cushion for sidewalks, but I live rurally where it’s all dirt/gravel roads. Just a detail to consider.

Estou a adorar as minhas chelsea bolota!

I’ve been wearing Chelsea boots for the past four years and started noticing that my feet were suffering from a narrow toe box and a lack of flexibility in the sole. After extensive research and comparing many similar barefoot shoes, I decided on the Muki Chelsea Bolotas.

I reached out for assistance with sizing and received quick and helpful guidance! When my new boots arrived, I initially thought they were too big—but I trusted the process and wore them for a few weeks. I’m so grateful that I did!

These boots are absolutely gorgeous, and to my surprise, I’ve even received compliments—despite their wider design not being the norm where I live. But the best part? The sole is so flexible that I truly feel barefoot! Now that my feet have the freedom to move naturally, I realize the boots weren’t too big at all—I had just been conditioned to wear shoes that were too small my whole life.

I’m beyond happy to have made this transition, and I love my first pair of barefoot shoes! Thanks, Muki! 🙂

A month ago, I’ve decided to go on a full barefoot shoe dressing. I already run with a pair of A***A shoes that have a big toebox a zero drop. After some researches I found Muki Shoes and I like their values.
I also like these Chelsea, the leather is beautiful, they are really comfortable.
I have a greek feet (middle toes are longer than the other) and the fit is optimum.

I purchased a 42, which is the size I normally buy in European sized shoes, but noticed that the last pair of these I purchased was a 43. I have very wide feet, 12cm at the widest point. These ones in a 42 are a little snug, but I am hoping that they loosen up a little with wear. My last pair was the caramel color which lasted for three years despite being worn at a job outside in the dirt and sometimes mud. I walked everywhere in them and would still be wearing them except that the soles detached from the shoes. I sewed them back on twice, but with much difficulty. If we lived in the EU, I would have sent them back in to be re-soled. I plan to treat these ones a little better, so hopefully I will have them longer than 3 years. I have been wearing barefoot style shoes for about 5 years. These shoes are perfect for walking in town and on trails that aren’t too rocky, though I have taken them everywhere. With the size 43, I was able to put a cork insole in for a little more cushion when needed.
