I love these boots! They feel as light as socks and I’ve enjoyed spending a full day at work in them just as much as walking 5-6 km at a time. I’ve tried them in very wet weather (melting snow) after spraying impregnating spray and they held up beautifully, keeping my feet dry. The only thing that’s hard for a first-time barefoot shoe wearer is that it’s winter and my soles get cold. I’d be looking for a warm insole to get some more insulation. Great shoe for a semi-wide foot (9cm). It felt a little tight the first day but very soon the leather loosened up.

I’ve been wearing these boots every day, all day. They are so comfortable, I forget I have them on. The leather is high quality, the wool lining is soft and warm without feeling bulky. The natural rubber sole is the best part! Such a pleasant way to feel the ground. This is my second pair of Mukishoes (first was Thyme size 37, worn in warm weather without socks.) I sized up to 38 for these boots. There is enough room to comfortably wear thin wool socks. I love these boots! Looking forward to buying more styles of Mukishoes!

I just got my boots in the mail and have only tried them on, but I love them already. They are the perfect fit, I was able to comfortable wear them with my toe spacers and socks (I sized up from 37 to 38), the leather is soft and so beautiful. I have been eyeing these boots for a year and a half and I am so glad to have finally made the purchase. Some online bloggers mention they are not good for people with bigger calves so I was worried bc mine are 15.5” (39.37 cm) but the boots fit nicely on my calves. Yes, the laces are short but if you needed to, you could just buy new laces as an easy fix. I love the side zipper to allow for ease of removal. I can’t wait to put them to the test! Will try to remember to update my review after a few winter wears!

My go to boots! I’ve been wearing them almost every day for over a year and still look great. It’s rather cool in the summer where I live and so they are ok but if I go anywhere that’s actually warm, they would be too hot for sure. The size 37 fits great. For reference I wear a 6.5 in Xero and Merrell barefoot, and 5 in Softstar.

These are just the perfect boots! They are immediately comfortable with excellent flexibility and ground feel. The leather is soft and just beautiful! I love the new all black tab. They felt like they’d always been mine from first wearing. They look as awesome as they feel! Just get them!

Jesus they’re comfortable! I’ve been wearing BF shoes for a few years now and this is the first pair that actually looks as good a they feel. I preferred the brushed leather of the first iteration but no complaints other than that. Perfect size (as opposed to the absurdly long and stiff VivoBF), soft malleable leather, great ground feel, cosy wool lining. I’ve only just received them but so far I’m sold!

These are my favorite boots. I’ve ordered multiple pairs over the years. I prefer the older version with the more faded vs. polished black leather, but I still love these boots. I put my own insole in them for thicker protection from the ground and they work great. I have thin feet and legs, so the lace-ups work great for me as I can adjust them according to my foot/leg size. As I tend to wear them daily, the sole has worn out (hence me buying new ones yearly). I wish they offered the resoling program for US customers as well. I’m a size 8.5/9 in most shoes and the 40 works very well for me. The side zipper is also super convenient.

Really pleasantly surprised with the quality and comfort. As others have commented the additional insole is a must for comfort and warmth but as a new customer I’m really delighted.

The boots are great. They are very comfortable, lightweight and flexible. It is the best feeling to walk with them on. I also like how they look. I was sceptical about the laces at first and was planning to change them – from my past experience round laces tend to untie. But these ones are made of cotton I guess and hold pretty well, so no problem here.
Now about the downsides. First of all it was hard to choose the right size. My feet with warm socks on are ~25.6 cm long and according to size chart it corresponds best to size 40. While the support team advised me rather take size 41. And in general I wear 39 (used to be 38 before going barefoot). So in the end I took size 40 and it is still a bit too big. I know I could exchange but did not want to wait again. I solved this problem by adding a bit longer woolen insoles, which got bent in the front part of the shoes and filled that extra space. Oh yes, it is impossible to wear them without warm insoles, at least for me. I wore them at up to -10℃ and my feet were freezing. You don’t feel it while walking but once you stop or get into a bus the feet are sooo cold. This is sad, I will have to keep wearing “normal” boots for such weather. But I think this is a common issue for all barefoot shoes. So if you live in a warmer place, where the temperature does not get lower than -5℃ go for these boots. They are super nice. So despite all the issues I still like them. I hope they will last for long time.

The boot fitted good around my heel and foot, and felt comfortable. Unfortunately they were too narrow in the toe box for my feet, My toes spread wide though. Tried size 46.
